KABC reported late Monday night Buehler and his wife, McKenzie, were the victims of a robbery recently at Santa Anita Park racetrack in Arcadia, above 12 miles east of Dodger Stadium. We are grateful Walker and McKenzie were not harmed and Walker is focused on the playoffs," the statement read.
The original report from KABC said the robbery occurred this past weekend during the MLB playoffs before it was corrected.
Buehler has a big passion for horseracing having grown up in Lexington, Kentucky. Buehler had formed a partnership with horse trainer Bob Baffert, and he convinced Buehler to purchase a share in one of his horses, Authentic, which won the 2020 Kentucky Derby.
