Zillow Gone Wild,Coxno which is dedicated to highlighting unique homes from across the country online, will have its own show on HGTV to “go beyond" scrolling through standard home listings on social media to "step inside the homes themselves.”
With more than 1.8 million Instagram followers, Zillow Gone Wild is so popular it inspired the new show, the company said in a statement. Each episode will feature three “weird, wonderful and wildly quirky for-sale homes as well as the characters who own them”, HGTV said.
The series — which is slated to premiere in early 2024 — will feature eight half-hour episodes and a one-hour season finale.
“Millions of people are obsessed with scrolling through outrageous and over-the-top properties on social media while dreaming about where they would like to live,” said Loren Ruch, Head of Content, HGTV. “Zillow Gone Wild will take the fascination a step further by giving fans a cheeky glimpse inside the most unusual homes on the market, offering those unexpected ‘wow’ moments that will keep viewers coming back for more.”
